My Road of Flames

My Road Of Flames

Dancing in the bright moonlight
on a road that never ends.

A road that's made of flames and sparks
I dance to the sparkling tune.

I do not feel the coals beneath my feet
As my soul is far from here.

In a place full of peace
where it learns to grow far from watching flames

You There!

You There!

You there!
Did you know?
Did you see?

You . . . the one
who tipped my glass
and let if tall to shatter to pieces

Di you know . . .
that to shatter a window
would lead to chains and bars

Did you see . . .
the full moon as it watched
As it shed a tear for a broken soul

Did you care . . .
as you made a choice
to steal away into the night

You . . . the one
who took from a child
the doll she so loved

You There!
Did you know?
Did you care?
